Setting quiet hours

Pause non-critical notifications overnight.

Quiet hours hold the interrupting alerts (push and SMS) for everything except critical Tier 1 notifications, during a window you pick. Default is 22:00 to 08:00 in your timezone.

Set your quiet hours

1

Open Settings → Notifications

Find the Quiet hours card.

2

Turn it on and set the start and end times

Both use your device's timezone, so they follow you when you travel (PopIn resyncs the timezone when you open the app rather than tracking your location).

What still comes through

NotificationHeld until morning?
Event cancellations and updates for events you're onNo, Tier 1
Host broadcastsNo, Tier 1
Security alerts (new sign-in, password change)No, Tier 1
Friend posts, reactions, commentsYes (push + SMS held)
New messagesYes (push + SMS held)
Note

Quiet hours are about not waking you, not hiding anything. They hold push and SMS; non-critical emails still arrive, and everything is waiting in your notifications list whenever you next look.

One schedule across all channels

Quiet hours apply to push and SMS together, there's no separate schedule per channel. If you want finer control, route specific tiers to specific channels instead. See Channel routing per tier.
