Setting quiet hours

Pause non-critical notifications overnight.

Quiet hours pause everything except Tier 1 (critical) notifications during a window you pick. Default is 22:00 to 08:00 in your local timezone.

Set your quiet hours

1

Open Settings → Notifications

Scroll to the Quiet hours card.

2

Set the start and end times

Both times use your device's timezone, so they follow you when you travel. (We resync next time you open the app rather than tracking your location.)

3

(Optional) pick which days apply

Default is every day. Many people switch to "weekdays only" so weekend mornings stay quiet.

"Always reach me"

Tip

Open a friend's profile, tap the 3-dot menu → Always reach me. Their messages bypass quiet hours but nothing else about the friendship changes. Reserve it for partners, parents, or anyone you can't afford to miss in an emergency.

One schedule across all channels

Quiet hours apply to push, email, and SMS together - you can't have different schedules per channel. If you need finer control, route specific tiers to specific channels instead. See Notification channels.
