A good cover photo and a few stories make the event page feel like the event.
Cover photo
Open the Details tab when creating or editing
Tap the cover placeholder at the top of the Details tab.
Pick a photo
PNG, JPG, or WebP up to 5MB. Drag to reposition, the crop preview shows what guests will see.
Skip the cover and PopIn paints a soft gradient from your event's title, so an event never looks unfinished.
Event stories
Stories posted to an event play as one reel, oldest first, so watching it back feels like the night unfolding. Hosts and anyone who's Going or Maybe can add to it; each story also lives on the poster's own story for 24 hours.
| Action | How |
|---|---|
| Add a story | Tap the Add story bubble on the event cover (you'll need to be Going or Maybe) |
| Watch the reel | Tap the story bubble on the cover; the little number is how many are on it |
| Add a countdown | In the editor, open Extras and drop in a live countdown to the event |
| Add a poll | Extras again: a question and two answers; results show once you've voted |
| Delete your own | Open it, then the three-dot menu |
| Remove a story (host) | Open it, three-dot menu, Remove from event. It comes off the reel but stays on the poster's own story |
While the event is actually on, the reel bubble pulses LIVE. Tap in to watch the night as it happens.
Highlights
Stories vanish after 24 hours, but hosts can keep the best of the reel: tap New highlight on the event page, name it, pick the stories, done. Highlights stay on the event page for everyone who can see the event, long after the night ends.
- Everyone's told at posting time that event stories can be kept in highlights.
- Posted something you'd rather not keep? Open the highlight, three-dot menu, Remove from highlight. Your call, always.
- Hosts can remove any single item or delete a whole highlight.
Event stories are for people on the event, not passers-by. Each story also respects the poster's audience choice (Everyone vs Friends).
