A good cover photo does a lot of work - it gives guests a sense of the vibe before they read a single word.

Open the photo picker
On the event create or edit screen, tap the photo placeholder at the top.
Pick a photo
PNG, JPG, or WebP, up to 10MB.
Drag to reposition
The crop preview shows what guests will see. Pictures with subjects in the centre survive both the 16:9 page header crop and the 1:1 profile-list crop.
Skip the cover entirely if you don't have one - PopIn picks a soft gradient based on your event title and category.
Event stories
During the event (and for 24 hours after), guests can post short photo or video stories that attach to the event page. Anyone on the guest list can see them.

Stories are visible to the guest list only, including no-account guests via their invite link. They are NOT visible to PopIn users who aren't invited, regardless of the event's visibility setting. A Public event still gates its stories to invited guests.
