Managing RSVPs and your guest list

See who's coming, send updates, and handle the maybes.

Everything host-side lives in one place on the event page: a collapsible Host controls and guests section. Tap it to expand, then use the tabs across the top.

The guest list

Under the Guests tab, the list is grouped by RSVP status, Going, Maybe, Invited, and Can't go, each with a count. Tap a guest to see their profile (if they have an account) or the name and contact they entered (no-account guests). No-account guests carry a small guest badge.

Send a broadcast update

1

Open the Updates tab

Inside Host controls and guests.

2

Write your message and send

It goes to everyone Going or Maybe via their preferred channel (push, email, SMS). Use it for genuine updates, not chit-chat, that's what the event group chat is for.

Plus-ones, removals, and failed invites

  • Plus-ones. When you allow them in the Logistics tab, each Going guest can declare how many they're bringing. The headcount includes them.
  • Remove someone. Tap a guest in the list and choose to remove them from the event.
  • Retry failed invites. If an email or number bounced, a Failed invites panel appears in the Guests tab. Tap to retry one or all (once per 24h per guest).
  • RSVP on someone's behalf. If a guest tells you in person, tap their name and set their RSVP for them, they still get reminders.
Tip

PopIn nudges non-responders after a few days and reminds everyone going 24 hours out, automatically. You don't need to chase people.

Capacity and the waitlist

If you set a capacity, once it's full the next people to RSVP Going join a waitlist instead, and are moved in automatically when someone drops out. See Capacity limits and waitlists.

Co-hosts

From the Guests tab, search your guest list and promote anyone who's Going or Maybe to co-host. Current co-hosts sit above the search field with a Remove button next to each. Co-hosts can edit the event, invite people, and post updates, handy for shared parties.
