Vibe it out vs manual create

Two ways to make an event, pick the one that matches your mood.

PopIn gives you two ways to make an event. Both end at the same place, a published event you can invite people to, but they start differently. The manual form is the default; Vibe it out is one tap away via the Prefer AI? Vibe it out link at the top of the create screen.

What Vibe mode does

You type something like "weekly run club every Tuesday 6am, meet at the park, keep the exact spot private until people are in". PopIn's assistant returns a live draft: title, date and time, a place, a polished description, and the right settings, it understands the newer fields too (ticket links, address privacy, plus-one limits, date polls, and repeats). You review and tweak everything in the preview; nothing goes live until you tap Create event.

Privacy of Vibe inputs

The text you type into Vibe is sent to Anthropic's API to generate the suggestion. We don't include your email, name, contact info, or social graph, just the free-text prompt. See Anthropic's privacy policy. If you'd rather no text leave PopIn, use the manual form.

When manual is faster

For straightforward events (the regular drinks at the same spot), the manual form is usually faster, and its fast path is just title + date + Publish. Vibe earns its keep when you have a rough idea and want help shaping it, or when the event has several settings you'd rather describe once than tick individually.

Switching

Both paths reach the same event. If Vibe's suggestions aren't landing, head to the manual form and fill it in directly.
