PopIn gives you two paths to a created event. Both end at the same place - a published event you can invite people to - but they start very differently.

What Vibe mode does
You type something like "let's do dinner with the crew on Friday at that ramen spot". PopIn's AI assistant (currently Anthropic's Claude) returns a structured draft: title, date and time guesses, place suggestions, a polished description. You review and edit everything before publishing - nothing goes live until you tap Publish.
Privacy of Vibe inputs
The text you type into Vibe is sent to Anthropic's API to generate the suggestion. We don't include your email, name, contact info, or social graph - just the free-text prompt. See Anthropic's privacy policy. If you don't want text leaving PopIn's servers, use Manual.
When Manual is faster
For straightforward events (the weekly run club, regular drinks at the same spot), Manual is almost always faster than Vibe. Vibe earns its keep when you have a fuzzy idea and want help shaping it.
Switching between modes
You can switch between modes mid-flow without losing the fields you've already filled in. Start in Vibe, hit "Switch to Manual" if the suggestions aren't landing. Start in Manual, hit "Vibe it" if you want help polishing the description. Drafts persist whichever mode you're in.
