Your home feed has two tabs. Both show people you actually know, there's no engagement-chasing algorithm deciding what you "should" see.
| Tab | What's in it |
|---|---|
| For You | Posts from friends, plus a few suggestions (people you might know, events worth a look) and the odd helpful card. |
| Following | Just the accounts you follow, nothing else mixed in. |
Those helpful cards
Between posts you'll sometimes see dynamic cards, a reminder about an event you're going to, a friend suggestion, that kind of thing. They're useful nudges, not ads, and you can dismiss any of them. Tune which cards you see (or turn them off) in Settings → Feed.
The Events feed
There's also an Events view for upcoming events you can RSVP to. It stays card-free, just events.
Friends are mutual; follows are one-way. Your For You feed leans on your friends, while Following is exactly who you've chosen to follow. See Finding friends.
The feed loads more as you scroll, so there's no "end" to hit, and new posts slide in as you go.
