Posting, reactions, and comments

Share something, react, and join the conversation.

Posting on PopIn is quick, and so is reacting to what your friends share. Here's the lot.

Write a post

Tap the compose box at the top of your feed. You can add:

  • Text, with @mentions of friends and automatic link previews.
  • Photos, one or several.
  • A GIF, via the bold "GIF" button in the composer.

Choose who sees it

Each post has an audience: Public, Friends, or Only me. Set it before you post; it's per-post, so you can share something widely or keep it close without changing any global setting.

Reactions

Every post has a set of reactions, tap one to react, tap again to remove it. It's a quick way to say "saw this, liked it" without a comment. You can see who reacted and with what.

Comments

Open a post to comment. Comments are rich too, text, a photo, or a GIF, and you can react to individual comments. The author of a comment can delete their own; the post's author can moderate comments on their post.

Note

To post, comment, or react you need an account and you'll need to be age-verified the first time, see Age verification. See something that breaks the rules? Report it.
