Every Pro page has a Reviews tab: star ratings and short write-ups from people who've dealt with the business. Hired a caterer through PopIn and they nailed it? Say so. The summary at the top shows the average rating and how many reviews it's built on.
Leaving a review
Open the page's Reviews tab
Find the business in the Pros directory and open its page. Reviews is the third tab, after Wall and Events.
Tap Write a review
Pick your rating by tapping a star, one to five. The stars are the only required part.
Add words if you want
The text box asks "How was working with them?" and it's optional, up to 2000 characters. Specifics help the next host more than "great!!" does.
Tap Post review
It appears in the list right away, with your name, avatar, and the date.
You get one review per page, so it stays your current opinion rather than a pile-on. You need a PopIn account to write one, and you'll be asked to confirm your date of birth the first time. Reading reviews needs nothing.
Changing your mind
Come back any time: the button now says Edit your review. Change the stars or the text and tap Save review, or tap Delete to take it down entirely. Only published pages take new reviews.
Who can't review
The page's own team. Owner, Manager, or Staff on a page, you'll see "You're part of this page, so you can't review it" instead of the form. Rating your own business is cheating.
If it's your page
Reviews are the customer's side of the story, so there's no edit, hide, or reply button on your end, and your team can't stack the numbers. That's what makes the stars worth something to hosts. Your review count and average also show up in your Insights dashboard. The best way to answer a rough review is to be better in the next enquiry, see Hosting events and handling enquiries.
